27B/6 follows the adventures of David Thorne as he pulls off all sorts of internet-based capers. He is widely known as the man who tried to pay an overdue account with a drawing of a spider. His other exchanges are equally irreverent and ridiculous. Awesome.
Here at Hench, we have a love of many things great and small. Included in that are cars. We’re confirmed car enthusiasts who appreciate great design, and we understand that when it all comes together as a complete, considered package, an object combining design, functionality, and a little bit of magic is created.
It’s no secret that I’m a self-confesed lover of BMW’s. Within reason of course. I don’t like their old 70’s tin cans, and I don’t think much of their current range or bloated heavy and fairly vulgar designs. However, there is always hope that their design direction reverts back to that of their more beautiful designed cars and sure enough the new head designer, Adrian van Hooydonk, has done so. Obviously, I couldn’t miss out on an opportunity to talk both about BMW and design now could I?!

I don’t think we’re allowed to blog this without using that title. AOL have become Aol. (period!), and have a new identity to celebrate that fact.
I’ve commented on this elsewhere, but had to blog about it here since it’s such a high profile redesign. I’d have written my thoughts on the Pepsi re-brand if we’d been live then, and I may yet come back to it.
So, AOL. Or now, Aol. (don’t forget that period!). Scourge of the internet for many a year, indirectly spawning amongst other things that dreadful Tom Hanks/Meg Ryan movie “You’ve Got Mail”. Although I suppose we can probably lay some of the blame for that at Compuserve’s feet, too. Whoever’s fault it was is not important. Steer clear.

The Ray Ban “Never Hide” campaign has been around for a while, and, whilst I think the execution is really interesting and the art very cool, I’m not so sure about the accuracy of the message..
Well here we are. I didn’t really want to make my first post something negative, but I keep passing these ads every day and I must admit I’m a little baffled by them. They’ve actually been around for a while, but I’m going to indulge myself regardless.
